“We are saddened to hear about the death of the Queen.
“Queen Elizabeth II was a champion for the voluntary, community and charity sector. Many local organisations hold the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service with pride.
“Her Majesty’s dedication to duty and service will live on in the many charities, groups and volunteers dedicated to supporting communities in our city, the UK and across the world.”
