The new Energy Resilience Fund (ERF) is now open, offering charities and social enterprises in England the chance to enhance their energy efficiency and transition to Net Zero. The fund provides blended finance packages of 60% loan and 40% grant, with funding amounts ranging from £25,000 to £250,000.
Eligible organisations can use the funding for energy-saving upgrades like insulation, efficient lighting, solar panels, heat pumps, or electric vehicles. The fund also supports costs such as project management, labour, and revenue losses.
Launched by Social Investment Business in partnership with Big Issue Invest, Charity Bank, and others, the £15m fund aims to help organisations in disadvantaged areas reduce energy costs, cut carbon emissions, and improve building usage.
