The LGBT+ Fund’s Youth Joy Fund, powered by Consortium and supported by The National Lottery Community Fund, helps organisations create opportunities for LGBT+ young people aged 11–25 to connect, enjoy enriching experiences and build wellbeing.
Who can apply:
- England-based non-profit organisations and youth groups with existing LGBT+ youth provision and at least two years’ youth-work experience. Within wider youth organisations, the LGBT+ youth work must be led by LGBT+ people.
- Applicants need at least two unrelated trustees, directors or management committee members. Individuals and statutory bodies cannot apply.
What you can get:
- £5,000–£25,000, to be spent within 18 months of the award.
- Support can cover youth activities, trips, events and related core or project costs, including staffing, venue hire and transport.
Key notes:
- Priority includes historically underfunded areas, places lacking provision and work with intersectional LGBT+ communities.
- New LGBT+ youth provision, activities outside England, retrospective costs and standalone or large capital purchases are excluded. Normally activities should be free; charging requires a strong reason.
- One application per organisation. Apply online, by video or with Giving Team support. Read the full guidance and eligibility checker first.
- Decisions are expected by 31 March 2027.
Deadline:
12 noon on Wednesday 18 November 2026.
