The City is committed to a 100% digitally included Wolverhampton in recognition of the benefits that getting our residents online can bring.
Do you work with residents in Bushbury South and Low Hill, Fallings Park, Bilston East or Bilston North? Can you help us identify and/or distribute digital devices to eligible residents that need them to get online?
The City has secured over 1000 digital devices to enable residents to get online with funding secured by WMCA. Devices are available for gifting to community organisations and eligible residents in those areas initially.
To be eligible, residents must be 16+ and one of the following: unemployed or on a low income (zero-hour contract or claiming work benefits), claiming disability benefits or pension credits, have a life-limited health condition, carer or have no formal qualification.
For residents outside of these wards or eligibility criteria, we can still help them through our Wolves Online device lending scheme or Wolves Tech Aid device recycling scheme. Connectivity is also available.
If you can help us or want to request some devices for your community organisations or to distribute, please contact Stefan.Paski3@wolverhampton.gov.uk.
