The National Lottery is setting out a bold new vision for how it will support communities across England by putting community agency, power and control at the heart of its funding, commiting at least £3 billion by 2030.

From next year, they will be seeking partners for the development phases of three new projects in order to support this vision.

You can find more information on each of these opportunities, including the timetable for grant applications, by visiting the following links

    • You Decide: A new You Decide funding stream, worth at least 5% of all funding in England, where communities will decide which good causes funding should support.
    • Grant Holder Support: A new £50 million community leaders programme to support informal community leaders who are making a difference to their area.
    • Community Power Fund: A £100 million, ten-year Community Power Fund to help people influence and change the places they live, the services they use, and decisions that affect their lives across England.

Please note: WVCA would be open to considering a joint application to the Community Power Fund to form a partnership where this may add strength to a potential bid. If you are interested please contact our Service & Business Development Manager, Mark Hand, at Mark.Hand@wvca.org.uk to express an interest, by the end of Monday 6th January 2025.
