December has been a busy and inspiring month for Wolverhampton Volunteers, as we celebrated United Nations International Volunteer Day on 5th December at The Mander Centre.

Joined by sixteen local organisations, the event raised the profile of volunteering in Wolverhampton and gave people the chance to explore opportunities to get involved over the Christmas period.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to making the day such a success!

Despite the challenges facing volunteering this year, Wolverhampton Volunteers is proud to have seen 725 people register their interest in volunteering – a true reflection of the community spirit here in Wolverhampton.

📅 Upcoming Date: Mark your calendars for the next VIO Network meeting on 22nd January 2025. For more information, email peter.emms@wvca.org.uk.

🎄 Christmas Office Hours:

  • Closed from: 23rd December
  • Reopening: 2nd January 2025

During the festive break, you can still register for volunteering and view current opportunities by visiting our website: www.wtonvolunteers.org.

Finally, we’d like to wish everyone a Happy Christmas and a wonderful New Year. Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to working together in 2025 to make an even bigger difference in our communities.
