We’re inviting community-minded colleagues, partners and organisations to join us for a Community Activation Workshop on Thursday 10th July 2025, from 9:30am to 12:30pm at the Bob Jones Community Hub.

This interactive workshop is being hosted as part of the OneWolverhampton Partnership’s Community Activation priority – a shared commitment to supporting people and communities to take action, look after one another, and build lasting connections.

The aim of the session is to begin co-designing a Community Champions Framework for the city – something that brings together and builds on the brilliant work already happening across Wolverhampton to empower and uplift communities.

We’re particularly keen to hear from:

  • Those working directly in community development or engagement

  • Individuals or teams running or supporting Community Champion programmes

  • Colleagues from VCSEF organisations, health services, the local authority or other partner agencies who are helping build community capacity

This is a chance to share your experiences, insights, and best practice, and to shape a framework that works for everyone. Whether you’re working with parents, young people, faith groups, health champions or neighbourhood initiatives – your voice matters.

How to Get Involved:
If you’d like to attend (or nominate a representative), please complete a short expression of interest form. As places are limited, we’re asking applicants to briefly outline their relevant experience and how they can contribute to the development of the framework.

If you have any questions or would like more information, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.

We look forward to working with you to build a stronger, more connected Wolverhampton.
