We’re delighted to share the difference that Wolverhampton Voluntary & Community Action (WVCA) has made in supporting local organisations through vital funding streams.
Over the past year, WVCA has successfully secured and redistributed £294,000 to 43 different community groups and organisations across the city. These funds have directly benefited more than 2,400 local people, helping to deliver projects that improve health, wellbeing, volunteering, and community engagement.
Through initiatives such as the HOPE Project, St Peter’s Physical Activity Project, Impact Volunteering Project, Social Enterprise Boost Fund and the Hospital Discharge Project, which is still open for applications, WVCA has worked alongside grassroots organisations to ensure that funding reaches the people and places where it can make the biggest difference.
From youth engagement and wellbeing activities to cultural projects and support for older residents, these grants are helping Wolverhampton’s voluntary and community sector to thrive.
The full list of funded organisations – ranging from established charities to smaller, emerging groups – shows the breadth of our city’s vibrant sector.
We’re proud to support such a diverse and inspiring range of groups, and we’ll continue working to secure new opportunities for the benefit of Wolverhampton’s communities.
