The 1001 Foundation is offering significant multi-year funding to charities that improve outcomes for babies during their first 1001 days — from pregnancy through to age two. The fund aims to create meaningful, long-term change by supporting services that help parents and carers give their babies the best possible start in life.
Charities can apply for up to £100,000 per year for a maximum of five years, with most awards expected to range between £20,000 and £80,000 per year. Funding will support projects delivered through community-based family hubs or other “one-stop-shop” settings that make it easier for families to access the help they need.
Eligible projects may include:
-
Infant feeding support and advice
-
Parenting and bonding programmes
-
Perinatal mental health services
-
Support for dads and marginalised communities
This is a valuable opportunity for organisations working directly with parents, carers, and babies to secure long-term support for their services.
Deadline for applications: 5pm on 19th December 2025
