The Charles Hayward Foundation’s Older People Programme is offering grants of up to £7,000 to UK-registered charities that help older people remain in their own homes and live independently for as long as possible.

The programme supports community-based services that improve quality of life and provide practical and emotional assistance to older individuals. Projects may focus on:

  • Tackling isolation and depression in later life

  • Offering practical support to people living alone or at home

  • Meeting the specific needs of people with dementia

  • Providing support for older carers

The Foundation welcomes applications from charities delivering front-line services that make a real difference to older people’s wellbeing, safety, and independence within their communities.

There are no deadlines, and applications are accepted at any time throughout the year, offering flexibility for organisations to plan and apply when ready.

This is a great opportunity for smaller and medium-sized charities supporting older people to access ongoing, unrestricted funding for community projects.
