Save the Children UK has launched the 2025 Young People Climate Fund, offering small grants of £1,000–£3,500 to organisations that empower children and young people to take meaningful climate action.
Building on successful rounds in 2023 and 2024, the fund—supported by corporate partner QBE—aims to raise awareness of the climate crisis and its impact on children, while enabling young people to design and lead their own climate-focused activities.
The programme will fund up to 12 projects across London, West Yorkshire, and the West Midlands, particularly those that:
🌍 Involve young people directly in planning and delivery
🎤 Amplify youth voices and build leadership skills
🎨 Use creative or community-based approaches (e.g. music, art, theatre, education, or green spaces)
🌱 Promote lasting positive change and awareness of climate issues
Past projects have included music videos, skate jams, poetry and art events, community gardens, and “teach the parent” workshops.
