1. One-off project grants

  • Available in the September, December and March application rounds

  • Typical awards range from £500 to £3,000

2. Multi-year partnerships

  • Available only in the May round

  • Designed to support longer-term, strategic development

  • Guidance for this strand is published around three months before the deadline

Funding expectations

  • The Hinrichsen Foundation rarely funds a project in full

  • Applicants should show other secured or projected income, such as ticket sales or other grants

  • Independent, professional references are required
