Grow Wild is offering grants of up to £2,000 to support community-led projects that bring people together to transform urban spaces by sowing and growing UK native wildflowers and/or fungi.
The funding is open to community, youth and voluntary groups across the UK and can support a wide range of costs, including seeds and plants, tools and materials, events and workshops, specialist support, contractor fees, and staff time linked to delivering the project.
The programme will fund 23 projects and is particularly keen to support activities that engage:
-
Young people aged 12–25
-
People experiencing disadvantage or reduced access to services
-
People who are socially isolated or less connected locally
-
People facing barriers to accessing nature, including disabled people
Successful groups can also apply for a £500 follow-on grant in spring 2027, alongside access to online training and opportunities to connect with other funded groups.
Deadline: 4 February 2026
Funding available: Up to £2,000 (+ £500 follow-on grant)
