Social Economy Growth Programme – Aston University

Who’s it for?
Emerging social enterprises, community businesses (including CICs), cooperatives and charities based in the West Midlands, particularly those working in Employment, Health and/or Social Care.

How much?
A grant of up to £1,000, alongside fully funded business support.

What’s it for?
This peer-learning programme supports organisations to strengthen business skills, grow trading income and increase confidence and impact. Participants will join a supportive learning community and receive practical tools to support sustainable growth.

  • Learning and networking to build confidence as a business leader

  • Tools to plan, achieve and track organisational growth

  • A tailored growth roadmap with clear ambitions and milestones

  • Support to increase trading income and reduce reliance on grants

  • A £1,000 development grant to support progress during the programme

  • The programme is developed and delivered by Aston University

  • Fully funded by West Midlands Combined Authority
