Who’s it for?
UK-registered charities providing home starter kits to support people moving into a home.
How much?
Grants of up to £10,000, with a maximum of £500 per kit. Kits must be delivered within 12 months.

This funding supports charities helping individuals and families to create safe, welcoming and comfortable homes, particularly for people affected by:

Homelessness

Domestic abuse

Disability or illness

Financial hardship
What can the funding cover?
Home starter kits may include:

Small electrical appliances (e.g. microwaves, TVs)

White goods
-
Furniture and bedding
-
Curtains and blinds
-
Flooring and paint
-
Cleaning items and DIY tools
-
Kitchen utensils and storage
-
Lighting fixtures and lamps
-
Safety items (e.g. smoke alarms)

Gardening tools, plants and outdoor furniture
-
Basic home repair materials
-
Laundry essentials (e.g. drying racks, baskets)

Home retailer gift cards

Funding is specifically for home starter kits, not general housing projects
