Organisations must be small in size, typically:

  • Under £100,000 income for local organisations

  • Up to £250,000 income for national organisations


What’s funded

Projects that support people who are marginalised or under-represented in UK society.

The Foundation prioritises work that:

  • Makes a lasting difference to people’s lives

  • Reduces isolation, stigma and discrimination

  • Helps excluded or “unpopular” groups participate more fully in community life

Funding is available across several focus areas, including:

  • Asylum seekers and refugees

  • Gypsies and Travellers

  • People experiencing mental health problems

  • People affected by violence or abuse

  • Offenders and ex-offenders

  • Older people

  • Young people


How much

  • Up to £15,000 (single or multi-year grants over 2–3 years)

  • Average grant: £5,000 to £6,000


Deadline

Applications are accepted year-round.

Applications submitted by early April 2026 are likely to be considered for the June 2026 Trustee meeting.

Decisions are made three times a year:

  • February

  • June

  • October
