The Severn Trent Community Fund has opened a new round of Core Funding for not-for-profit organisations delivering vital services within local communities. The funding is designed to help organisations facing financial pressures continue their existing work, particularly where they support vulnerable people and improve community wellbeing.

Who can apply:
Not-for-profit organisations based within the Severn Trent region that have been operating for at least three years, have an average annual income of £250,000 or less, less than 12 months of unrestricted reserves, and can demonstrate a financial need.

What you can get:
Restricted grants of between £5,000 and £20,000 to support core costs for one year.

Deadline:
30 June 2026 (11:59pm)

Key notes:

  • Applications open on 1 June 2026.
  • Around 25 organisations are expected to be funded.
  • Priority will be given to organisations providing essential services, including foodbanks, health and wellbeing support, housing and homelessness services, support for vulnerable groups, and employment assistance.
  • Organisations must be based within the Severn Trent region and meet all eligibility criteria.
