Who can apply:
UK-based charities and not-for-profit organisations with projects that have a clear technology or IT focus.

What you can get:
Grants are typically up to £15,000, although larger awards may be considered for exceptional projects.

14 August 2026 (5pm)

Key notes:

  • Priority areas include digital inclusion, education and skills, accessibility, community engagement, and helping charities use technology more effectively.
  • Funding can support digital services, software, equipment, accessibility tools, websites, apps, AI and robotics, data and analytics projects, and digital training initiatives.
  • Projects supporting disadvantaged or excluded communities to benefit from technology are particularly encouraged.
  • Applications are assessed quarterly through the WCIT Charity grants programme.
  • The charity may also be able to provide pro bono IT expertise alongside grant funding.
