The Ulverscroft Foundation provides grants to organisations delivering projects that improve the quality of life of visually impaired people. The Foundation primarily supports organisations working directly with visually impaired individuals and is keen to fund specific projects and activities that make a tangible difference.

Who can apply:
Organisations including charities, CICs, libraries, schools, colleges, hospitals and social groups that support visually impaired people. Applications are accepted from organisations based in the UK and overseas.

What you can get:
Grants towards specific project costs that improve the lives of visually impaired people.

Deadline:
Applications are accepted throughout the year. Trustees meet quarterly to consider applications.

Key notes:

  • Funding is available for specific projects and associated costs.
  • Capital costs, core salaries and general running costs are not eligible.
  • Organisations can only submit one application every 18 months, regardless of the outcome of a previous application.
  • Applications must be submitted using the Foundation’s application form, which can be emailed or posted.
