The Access Foundation supports charities helping disadvantaged and vulnerable people access IT equipment, support and digital learning.

Who can apply

Registered charities in the UK and several other eligible countries can apply.

Community Interest Companies, individuals, most educational institutions and organisations focused on animals, religious activity or political campaigning are not eligible.

What you can get

Grants are generally between £20,000 and £50,000 for specific projects lasting up to 12 months.

Funding cannot be used for general running costs or organisational overheads.

Deadline

There is no application deadline. Decisions are usually made within 16 weeks of submitting an application.

Key notes

Projects must have clear, measurable outcomes and demonstrate how many people will benefit and what difference the work will make.

Applicants must provide:

  • An itemised project budget
  • A safeguarding policy
  • Their latest accounts

Applications are submitted through the Foundation’s online grant management platform.
