The Morrisons Foundation Connecting Communities Grant Scheme supports charities to improve the places and facilities that bring communities together, including capital projects that revitalise buildings and outdoor spaces.

Who can apply: Registered charities providing place-based services for whole communities or specific groups. Applicants must own the property where the project will take place or hold a long-term lease with at least three years remaining, and must have filed at least one set of accounts with their charity regulator.

What you can get: Up to £20,000 towards capital projects, including improvements to buildings and outdoor areas and other works that make community facilities more resilient, inclusive and accessible.

Key notes: The scheme can support community centres, youth clubs, community gardens, disability and therapeutic centres, SEN facilities, refuges, homeless shelters, recovery centres, warm hubs and veteran support centres. CICs and organisations that are not registered charities are not eligible. Charities that have received Morrisons Foundation funding within the last two years are also excluded.

Deadline: No deadline – applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
