The One Stop Community Partnership Programme provides funding and practical support to local community groups working to improve their neighbourhoods. It supports projects addressing issues such as food poverty, vulnerability and isolation, low-income families, local sport, environmental improvements and reducing waste.

Who can apply: Local community groups and organisations whose organisation or project address is located within two miles of a One Stop store. Applicants should use the One Stop Store Finder before applying to check both their distance from a store and whether funding is currently available in their area.

What you can get: An initial grant of up to £500 to support a new or existing community project. Successful groups can also build a partnership with their local One Stop team, potentially involving volunteering, fundraising and raising awareness of their work.

Key notes: Funding can support projects tackling food poverty, support for vulnerable or older people, low-income families, local sports, environmental improvements and reducing community waste. Food banks and breakfast clubs cannot apply for funding to purchase food, although funding may be available for equipment such as fridges, freezers and storage units.

Deadline: Applications open Tuesday 1st September 2026 and close Wednesday 30th September 2026. Decisions are expected during the week commencing 9th November 2026.
