HOPE Small Grants Programme celebrates successful completion

HOPE Small Grants Programme celebrates successful completion

The HOPE Small Grants Programme was a funding initiative aimed at reducing loneliness and isolation in Wolverhampton, particularly in response to the impact of COVID-19. WVCA partnered with the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust (RWT) to deliver the programme, which provided essential grants to grassroots organisations to enable them to improve mental health and social wellbeing across the city.

Well, what a fortnight, ‘things are coming fast!’ The government has announced a merger of functions of the Department of Health and Social Care and NHS England. The major reforms aim to reduce bureaucracy and duplication, make savings and empower NHS staff to deliver better care for patients with more resources being put back into frontline services.

Our Projects

Wolverhampton Volunteers aims to strengthen communities & community groups in Wolverhampton & improve the quality of life for people in our city.

Our Social Prescribing service provides a non-medical approach to supporting adults in Wolverhampton to improve their health and wellbeing.

An award-winning project, working closely with Recovery Near You, supporting vulnerable adults in the local community with drug / alcohol-related issues.

Play Wolverhampton Community Lottery and support our community with a fundraising lottery. At least 60% from each ticket sold goes to good causes in Wolverhampton, and there’s a chance to win the £25,000 jackpot every week!
