SUIT are thrilled to be working alongside Charlotte Webb Illustration & the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust Charity for a project that will connect clients in the Wolverhampton community with the story of healthcare heritage and invite an exploration of what healthcare means to people today.
The #CareCreateConserve project will see Charlotte & SUIT investigating items in the RWT heritage collection, finding inspiration from the art past & present to express personal experiences of mental health & addiction.
The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust Charity recognises how arts and heritage can have huge benefits for patient experience and forge greater connections with our community.
In 2020, the Arts and Heritage group was established with the aims of enhancing the healing environment for patients and staff, developing community connections, and engaging people with Wolverhampton’s rich healthcare heritage.
