The deadline for the October Half Term funding applications is 12.00 Noon on Friday 20th September. Unlike the DfE HAF programme, ALL school-age children that are residents of the City of Wolverhampton are eligible to participate in the Yo October Half Term provisions.
Bookings are now managed on the Eequ system and automatically linked to the Events | Wolverhampton Young Opportunities (yowolves.co.uk) website. Please see the below information regarding your application :-
We will be concentrating on applications relating to Art, Crafts and Cultural activities.
We have listed all City of Wolverhampton wards on the third tab of the attached spreadsheet for information. This will be taken into consideration when granting funding to ensure there is a spread of activities across the city.
Please use the specification to complete your application, as we do assess applications on a matrix (this can be found in the specification) and will be awarding grants to organisations who apply for funding at a maximum of £30 per child per day.
Please include your food costs in your application (just to note that if CWC Catering is required they will invoice you separately).
As previously advised, providers will need to register as a food establishment.
Please note that new providers will be required to deliver a 10 minute presentation, A ‘Dragons Den’ style panel of young people from the YES Board will be assessing new applicants (date to be advised).
A representative from your organisation will be required to deliver a 10 minute presentation and then take questions from the panel.
