We’re delighted to announce that Wolverhampton has been chosen to host the 2025 UK Recovery Walk – a first for the city! This incredible achievement was made possible thanks to the overwhelming support of residents, local organisations, and everyone who voted for Wolverhampton’s bid.
Led by WVCA’S SUIT (Service User Involvement Team), The Good Shepherd, City of Wolverhampton Council, and Recovery Near You, the bid secured thousands of votes, showcasing the city’s passion and commitment to supporting recovery.
The UK Recovery Walk celebrates recovery from drug and alcohol addiction, uniting people in recovery, their families, and friends for a public parade and ‘Recovery Village’ celebration.
