Funding for essential household items for children in crisis
The BBC Children in Need Emergency Essentials Programme helps provide vital household items for children and young people whose wellbeing is being seriously affected by poverty, illness, disability, domestic abuse, homelessness, family breakdown or another crisis.
Funding for organisations supporting people with learning disabilities
The Baily Thomas Charitable Fund offers grants to organisations supporting children and adults with learning disabilities, also described as intellectual disabilities. Projects must directly benefit people with intellectual disabilities. Autism, mental illness, dyslexia, ADHD or physical disabilities alone are not eligible unless beneficiaries also have an intellectual disability.

Historic England’s History in the Making programme offers grants to support projects that work directly with young people outside school hours in areas of high social deprivation. Projects must be co-created with young people, with their voices shaping the decisions, design and direction of the activity.
