What a year it has been and it’s not quite over yet! Over the last year, WVCA has been able to allocate approximately £350,000 in grants across the city to the Wolverhampton VCSEF sector. This has been through commissioned work and projects including, for example, volunteering post Covid, social enterprise growth and development, tackling loneliness and social isolation and children’s physical activity projects.

Schools and not-for-profit organisations across the UK can apply for grants of up to £1,500 to support projects that give children a stronger start in life. Priority is given to initiatives focusing on food security and supporting young people.

The HCT project has a funding pool of £75,000 for VCSE led health equity projects to be delivered between March and September 2025. The projects should be collaborative in nature bringing together different organisations to address issues that the communities you engage with experience.
