Message from the Chief Executive (November 2023)
I’ve been in post eight weeks and what an eight weeks it has been!
The Inclusive Communities Fund was inspired by the momentum generated by the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. It aims to strengthen the achievements prompted by the Games, offering community organisations access to new funding to make a difference for the people they work with.
Simeon Greene is an individual member and Co-Chair of WVCA’s board.
Sarah Ball is a voluntary sector representative on WVCA’s board and works with Trailblazers Mentoring, a national charity set up to mentor young offenders (18-25), with the primary objective of helping to reduce their re-offending.
Gurbax Kaur is a voluntary sector representative on WVCA’s board. She is the 2018 West Midlands Combined Authority Thrive Mental Health Commission award winner for Wolverhampton and the West Midlands.
